They offer the classic solution for numerous tasks and applications in nearly all industries—available worldwide to a uniform standard. The latest series are considerably lighter, more efficient and have superior cushioning design—taking full advantage of the AVENTICS Ideal Cushioning technology.

ISO 15552 Pneumatic Cylinders, Series PRA/TRB - advantages at a glance
• Reduced weights
• Standardized dimensions according to DIN ISO 15552
• Flexibility of profile or tie rod versions
• Precise, simple cushioning adjustment
• Reinforced piston for high performance with consistent quality and long life
• Numerous space-saving mounting options
Product Features:
• Available worldwide, bore sizes range from 32mm thru 125mm, with the tie rod version to 250 mm.
• Standard features include: cushioning both ends, noise reducing bumpers and magnetic pistons for sensors.
• Choose from ISO G(BSPP) or NPT ports, and metric or UNF piston rod threads.
Models include:
Tie Rod -
Series TRB, bore sizes 32-250 mm (replaced Series 523 Gray tie rod cylinders)
Profile Type -
Series PRA, bore sizes 32-125 mm
Series CCL-IS, bore sizes 32-125 mm (protected sensor)
• Other options include: screw-in bushing/wiper combinations, linear guides, high temperature version and piston rod locking brake.
• Air pressures up to 150 psi with a standard temperature range of 5 to 158 degrees F.
• High Temperature version available up to 248 degrees F.
• 303 Stainless Steel piston rod standard.
• AVENTICS Ideal Pneumatic Cushioning decreases cycle time and protects machine equipment, plus decreases noise and vibration.
• With proper cushioning, our ISO cylinders can eliminate the need for expensive industrial steel cylinders in many applications.
Completely interchanges with other ISO 15552 cylinders including our former Series 523 cylinders.
• Rod Lock available in case of air pressure loss.
• Rod holding units available.
• Linear Guides in ball bearing and slide bearing versions can be utilized to provide the level of precision you require.
• Direct mounting of valve and subbase possible.
